Meetings
When / Where
DWA meets on the first Saturday of each month in the Flowing Wells high school auto shop classroom. The Flowing Wells map is an interactive google map and can be used to get driving directions to the Flowing Wells high school. The high school fronts on Flowing Wells road. The cross streets are Prince road to the south and Roger road to the north. The auto shop map gives directions to the parking area from both cross streets. The room opens at 8 AM for networking. The business meeting is from 9 AM to 10 AM and the demonstration is from 10 AM to noon.
CNCUG (Computer Numeric Control User Group) meets virtually (via Zoom) on the fourth Saturday of each month. Contact CNCUG program coordinator Adrian Barton (adrianbarton@gmail.com) to receive an email invitation with a link to CNCUG meeting.
General DWA Meeting Activities:

Arrival and attendees with "Show and Tell" (Instant Gallery) items place the items on the display tables

50/50 Raffle tickets are sold.

Business meeting is conducted by the president, during which: .Visitors are recognized. 50/50 Raffle: Drawing from tickets sold and the winning ticket holder gets 50 percent of raffle sales money. The other 50 percent goes to club treasury.

"Bring Back" ticket drawing: The winning ticket holder gets an item made by the prior month's winner and is required to bring back a different item to the next meeting for that month's "Bring Back" winner.

Instant Gallery: There is a table set up for the Instant Gallery. You may have up to 3 pieces for display.
Each meeting, each person displaying in the Instant Gallery receives a ticket for a drawing (for $25).
Only one ticket per person regardless of how many items you bring to a meeting. -
President's Choice items: Each month the club president designates a specific woodcraft project. Participants are entered into a quarterly drawing (for $25).

Spring Fling: A special April meeting with several demonstrations. Spouses and friends are invited. There is a catered luncheon. nominal fee is charged for the lunch.
Note: This may become "Fall Fling" if required. -
Christmas party (held in conjunction with SAZWA): A luncheon (for a nominal fee) at some designated location for members, spouses and friends. There is an optional gift exchange consisting of some wooden item made by the giver.
